The city of Kolkata is well equipped with different advanced instruments and technologies such as Ultra Violet Visible Near Spectroscopy (UV-VIS-NIR), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FITR), Diamond View, Equipment’s of Screening of Diamonds for example; Synth detect and Q.check. the company has good command over the basic gemological instruments as well which includes Polariscope, U.V Lamps, Microscope, Spectroscope.
The report that would be issued by the company- gem testing lab, Kolkata are concluded based on the analysis of the expert of gem/ jewellery after the submission of the testing. The report conclusion is drawn on the basis of the performance of the testing which is done using the gemological instruments.
